This beautiful custom shower, in Brentwood, involving glass chevrons with stone shelves, ceramic tile above marble, with stone benches and marble hexagons on the floor. There was a lot of planning and the results show off that attention to detail I bring.
This client in Spring Hill needed a shower redone because the waterproofing was incorrectly installed a year and a half prior. I restored his master suite and gave them a trustworthy build while being transparent every step of the process.
This is an upgrade to a spacious and beautiful stand up shower from a bulky and crowded fiberglass insert in the Fieldstone Farms neighborhood.
This custom backsplash is in Franklin Just outside Peytonsville, the vertical run pattern accentuates the tall 12′ ceilings in the kitchen. The bold nature of the copper insert makes for a great focal piece.
One of my favorite large format tile installations I did in Detroit, featuring 5ftx2.5ft tiles, backlighting in the niche a linear drain and a heated floor.
I installed this glass tile with the subway/brick pattern in detroit, in a house that was almost 100 years old.

This is how I build showers:

The walls are shimmed out to plumb and GoBoard is installed and waterproofed. The Flofx drain is attached to the plumbing.
Concrete is mixed and sloped to the drain. I use concrete because I am skilled in its use and I can easily take on custom shower shapes.
After the concrete cures, I adhere a waterproof membrane to the concrete and walls. Then an overnight flood-test is performed.
Once the flood-test has been passed, I tile the floor and grout it so that it can cure overnight.
Then the walls/niche/accents are added to the project, and grouted in.
Final step is to get approval from the client and their 160lb mountain dog.
